Free Tool: 13-Week Cashflow Forecast for NZ Business Owners

See your cash position 13 weeks out. For free.

Most businesses that run into cash trouble do so because they did not see it coming 6 to 8 weeks out.

I built this tool because too many founders I talk to are flying blind on cash. They know roughly what is in the bank today, but they cannot tell you where they will be in two months. That is a problem. Especially if you are growing, hiring, or about to hit a lumpy expense like GST or an annual insurance premium.

This 13-week cashflow forecast is the same framework CFOs use to manage working capital. It is not complicated. It does not require an accounting degree. You enter your numbers, and it shows you exactly when your cash gets tight and when you have room to move.

What you get

An interactive Excel workbook with four tabs: clear instructions, a setup page where you enter your revenue, expenses, and known one-off items, a 13-week forecast that calculates automatically, and a dashboard with a cash trajectory chart, warning flags, and key metrics.

It takes about 15 minutes to set up. Once it is running, you update it weekly in under 5 minutes.

Who this is for

Founders and CEOs of NZ businesses doing $3M to $30M in revenue who do not have a CFO or finance director. If you are relying on your accountant or bookkeeper for financial visibility, you are probably getting compliance, not strategy. This tool gives you a piece of what a CFO does: forward-looking cash management.

What it does not do

It does not connect to your accounting system. It does not run scenarios. It does not tell you when to hire, when to hold, or how to structure a board report. Those are the things a fractional CFO does. This tool covers the basics. If the basics tell you something worrying, that is when we should talk.
